The Garmin Approach R10 is the unit that made a home golf simulator realistic for normal budgets. For around $600 you get a Doppler-radar launch monitor that measures the numbers that matter and doubles as a simulator when paired with the Garmin Golf app.
Who it’s for
If you’re building your first sim and don’t want to spend four figures, the R10 is the default recommendation. It’s accurate enough to practice with intent, and the same box works outdoors at the range.
The one thing to check first
